Time to visit Salzburg

We began our Salzburg excursion by train.  Both kids traveled really well.  It was wonderful to have four adults though. :)

We checked into our hotel, dropped off our luggage, and headed out to explore the Fortress.  It was a great way to see the city from above.

 Early the next day we began with the zoo!  It was a really, really hot day.

Then we hit the palace.  I pretty much took the kids to the playground while the others went on a tour of the fountains.  Oh and we can't forget the gazebo from the Sound of Music!

 We made it back just in time for a boat ride on the river.  And Nathanael had a seat of honor!

Of course, we had to walk around the city a bit as well.
