Autumn beauty

I love every season.  I love the changing of seasons.  I love the middle of each season when it's at its peak.  Autumn is no exception.
I snapped this photo of the kids' schoolyard after dropping them off one day.  This never ceases to amaze me how blessed our kids are to be at a school with nature out its back door.  I love that their classrooms look out into this and that they take breaks in this school yard.  So blessed.
This is the forest behind the kids' school.  When I don't have enough time for a longer walk, I take a quick joint through this forest on the way to the bus or underground station.
This is our closest park, a picture I snapped quickly one morning from the bus stop.  Again, we are so blessed by nature all around us now.  It was a dream that God brought into reality.  Behind and beside this park are a couple fields and hills (can't wait for snow) and a little forest where the kids love to run around and play with neighborhood friends.
From an afternoon in the park:

Our favorite tree to climb in the park near our closest McDonalds
This is the path from our street to the stream behind our neighborhood.
And then this is simply from a morning breakfast the kids and I had when weekend Dad was away.  They had HUGE hot chocolates which were devoured!

October Entertainment

The weather is crazy in October.  This day was so cold for being outside during Nathanael's football training, but we made the most of it.  Eva drew this pony!  I was impressed!
 Just playing dress-up
 Antlers?
 Fun at a favorite park

Feeding the ducks on a long rainy Saturday day.  We needed to get out and were thankful to have the stream nearby to run off some energy outdoors in the rain.
