A dear friend of ours introduced the kids to the Technical Museum, and so we took Grandpa and Grandma there during this visit. As you can see, it's a ton of fun for kids of all ages.

Traditional Christmas Tree Decorating 2017
We were happy to include Grandpa and Grandma in our traditional ginger cookie and cider Christmas tree decorating. I apparently did not take any pictures this time! Fortunately, Grandma captured a few.

Enchanting Hallstatt, Post 1
Hallstatt did not disappoint. It is a most beautiful, breath-taking town.
We stopped for dessert and coffee, of course.
Feeding the swans was quite possibly the kids' favorite part of the town.

Enchanting Hallstatt, Post 2
After exploring the town, we headed up the mountain-climbing, train-car, gondola-type thing to take a world-famous salt mine tour. The views from the top of the mountain were amazing, and the salt mine was awesome. The kids were the perfect age for it!

Looking down on the village across the lake where we stayed.
The train/cart ride back up the mine!
The next morning, we awoke to more snow! The kids were thrilled.
One last stop at the corner pizza restaurant (and tower building with coasters) before heading back home to Vienna.
Almost home! So tired...
